Chase Business Options

Why I Love Chase Ink Business Cards (And Why You Might Too)

If you run a small business or even just have a side hustle, you’ve probably heard about the Chase Ink Business credit cards. They’re some of the most popular cards out there for entrepreneurs, and for good reason—they come with big welcome bonuses, flexible rewards, and perks that actually make sense for business owners.

You don’t have to have a podcast to get a business card. You could be a tutor, sell items on the Marketplace or eBay, or even just run a small Etsy shop. There are 100’s of ways to qualify for a business card. And since a lot of expenses (and dinners) can be charged to a card, you rack up points very quickly!

Here’s a quick breakdown of the three cards in the Chase Ink family:

Ink Business Preferred®

This one’s the heavy hitter. If you spend a lot on things like advertising, shipping, travel, or phone bills, it’s a game-changer. You’ll earn 3x points on those categories (up to \$150,000 per year) and 1x on everything else. It also includes cell phone protection when you pay your bill in full with the card! The annual fee is $95, and the sign-up bonus alone is usually worth hundreds of dollars in travel.

The best part? Points go into Chase Ultimate Rewards®, which means you can transfer them to partners like Hyatt, United, or Southwest—making your rewards stretch even further.

Ink Business Cash®

Don’t want an annual fee? This is your card. It earns 5% cash back on office supplies, internet, and phone bills (up to \$25,000 a year), plus 2% at gas stations and restaurants. Everything else earns 1%.

Even though it says “cash back,” your rewards are still Ultimate Rewards points, so you can pool them with other Chase cards if you want to use them for travel instead of just statement credits.

Ink Business Unlimited®

This one’s for people who just want to keep things simple. No categories to track, just a flat 1.5% cash back (points) on everything. It’s also a no-annual-fee card, and it comes with a solid sign-up bonus.

Perfect if you don’t want to think about where you’re swiping but still want your rewards to add up.

Why They’re Great for Business Owners

Bottom Line

If you’re spending money to run your business anyway, why not earn rewards while you’re at it? Whether you want straightforward cash back, points for travel, or a mix of both, there’s a Chase Ink card that’ll fit your style.

Personally, I love how flexible the rewards are—you can keep it simple with cash back or get creative and turn points into a flight to Greece (yes, really).

Earn 200,000 bonus points with the Ink Business Unlimited® card or Ink Business Cash® card.
